Keynote Speaker

Human Leadership, Visionary & Speaker, Tiffany Pizioli believes that building successful, meaningful relationships in business and the ability to look ahead and anticipate what is to come is the FUEL to healthy, happy, and profitable organizations.

With 20 years of experience in executive leadership, business intelligence, strategic development, and marketing, Tiffany has extensive knowledge in successfully running large organizations and managing multiple partners, sponsors, and stakeholders, all through the power of building authentic human connections.

Tiffany uses the same recipe in all her successful endeavors — the People Principle, that is, the idea that processes and strategies do not produce, people do! Companies are often so focused on business processes; they forget about their most valuable assets — their people.

It is Tiffany’s strong belief that if we put people first, ask them what drives and matters to them, listen, and hear what they have to say and act accordingly, they will feel like integral parts of the team and will go the extra mile. This applies to employees, key stakeholders, suppliers, and sponsors — anyone who has an impact on a business’s overall success.

Tiffany has the unique ability to look ahead and anticipate what is to come in almost any business setting. She constantly asks, “We are here now but where are we going tomorrow?” She is passionate about anticipating the future and acting accordingly. In her role as CEO of the Canadian Urological Association, she manages an annual operating budget of $5 million and sustains a strong funding base through key partnerships for more than a decade.

With a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration and extensive international experience at the executive level, she provides the strategy and leadership advantages every organization needs.

In addition to speaking, Tiffany owns her own consulting firm, Tiffany Pizioli & Co. She works with NPOs supporting the development of strategic plans for several associations and organizations across Canada, with the main goal of ensuring financial success for future viability. She can communicate in five languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish & Portuguese) but is most proficient in English and French (both spoken and written).

Through her authentic and naturally humorous demeanor, let Tiffany teach you how to truly connect with your people and key stakeholders for successful partnerships. She will teach you how to develop a “think ahead” mentality, anticipate what is to come, and innovate ahead of the game.

All of Tiffany’s sessions are highly customized to the organization and industry she is speaking to. This is done through research and discovery calls to tailor a session to your desired outcomes.

Tiffany Pizioli & Co.

Ms. Tiffany Pizioli has acquired more than twenty years of business intelligence and marketing experience, specifically in the field of pharmaceuticals and healthcare in the not-for-profit industry. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University graduating with great distinction and a sub-specialty in marketing. She has a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Université de Montréal, Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), with a focus in International Business and graduated top five of her class.

Her career began as a Marketing Director with an international event planner that was instrumental in marketing a broad range of topics and events in the healthcare industry covering fields such as anesthesiology, gynecology, infectious diseases, urology, sexual medicine, and transplantation. For several years, this position, in the international arena, allowed her to extensively make use of her five languages (English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) and deal with international trade affairs related to marketing and selling in foreign countries. The position took her to countries across the world where she organized events and worked alongside local professional organizers. Dealing with tight timelines, multiple projects, and international business issues, she successfully organized 15 international events which attracted more than 350,000 delegates in the span of two months.

After obtaining her MBA, she obtained extensive experience working with medical communication agencies and has worked on several brand launches in both Canada and the United States. With medical expertise in infectious diseases, urology and dermatology, she worked on brands though all stages of the product life cycle.

The bulk of her career has been spent in the not-for-profit (NPO) industry, as current CEO of the Canadian Urological Association (CUA), where she manages an annual operating budget of $5 million and sustained a strong funding base solely from pharmaceutical sponsorship for more than a decade. She also managed the sister organization of the NPO, the registered charity which held more than $16 million with the sole purpose of administering grants for urological research. Managing a diverse and frequently changing Board of Directors, she acquired experience in managing multiple stakeholder expectations and ensuring the vision and mission of the NPO remained on course. Managing a multi-million-dollar NPO and charity, she managed a team of employees with little turnover and an average length of stay of more than a decade. She also has extensive experience with various levels of government and the frequently changing rules of the accrediting bodies that govern physician education.

Over the years, in addition to leading the CUA, she has also consulted and prepared strategic plans for several other associations and organizations across Canada with the main goal of ensuring financial success for future viability. This passion for strategic planning was the genesis of launching her own consulting firm, Tiffany Pizioli & Co.

The CUA Board of Directors are supportive of this complementary business, which will allow an expanded view into other NPO’s, bringing multiple stakeholders together to create a robust strategic plan that aligns with an organization’s mission, vision and values.

With pressures from regulatory and compliance, most NPO’s are funded solely from the pharmaceutical industry and need to operate in a completely different manner than for-profit companies. Tiffany Pizioli & Co. can provide a valuable opportunity to NPO’s to diversify their portfolio, assist with sustaining their funding model and provide opportunities to work more closely with industry, while respecting the rules governing NPO’s in Canada.
